Shri BR Sunda College, Jobner

Shri BR Sunda College, Jaipur, was established in 2010 at Barija, Jobner, Phulera district of Jaipur, Rajasthan, as an affiliated college. This is a co-educational institution located in a small area of one acre with a compact built-up area of constructed space in a single compound conducive to focused efforts in learning.

The college in current time has total heads of 215 students, while it has 9 committed members of faculty. The Shri BR Sunda College offers two undergraduate degree courses to establish its mission in the higher education of arts and sciences. The college offers a variety of learning amenities intended to improve the student lifestyle and foster academic success.

To this end, it acts as an information centre that offers students material that they can use in their course work. To support its learning approach, the college has departmental-based laboratories where students can get practical experience in their fields. They have useful establishments, namely sports and recreation facilities, that enhance physical and team development among students.

Moreover, the college pays great attention to IT facilities; therefore, the students are all prepared for the technology-based curriculum where the instructor incorporates modern systems into teaching.

Thus, a cafeteria with a comfortable working place on the territory of the given institution allows having rest and having a meal between the classes, thus strengthening the feeling of customers’ orientation among students and staff. Shri BR Sunda College offers two full-time undergraduate programmes : BA and B. Sc or Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science.

The BA programme has a more or less large admission capacity of 180 students; the other B. Sc. programme has only 60 students capacity. Each of them takes three years so students receive a solid education based on the chosen subject. Student enrolment capacity taken up by all courses is 215, which tally with the present admission, so the college is fully congested.

This implies that there was high demand for the programmes offered by the institution in that region. Shri BR Sunda College is one of the most focused educational institutes and has a small campus so students get a focused environment.

In this case and despite the fact that the college lacks a long list of national rankings or accreditations, the college seems to have adequate facilities and course offerings in arts and sciences to support its efforts in delivering quality education. It also benefits the students in Jaipur district as the institution provides an education that they have sought for in colleges and university facilities.

In the process of its further development, the college also strives to take a proper part in the formation and development of the educational processes in Rajasthan.
