5 acres of land, the college provides a suitable atmosphere of learning to the students who wish to become teachers. The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has approved the institute to offer quality education in the country.

The college currently has a total enrolment of 24 learners who are served by a staff of 7 qualified and capable instructors giving a healthy student-teacher ratio that facilitates individual tutorial sessions. Shri Shamrao Patil Adhyapak Vidyalaya provides structured courses and enrols students only for the D. El. Ed course. This academic programme has a duration of two years and is intended for student who want to become primary school teachers. This course prepares candidates for teaching profession by providing them with knowledge and all attributes essential for effective teaching in elementary classes.
