Shri Umiya Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Indore, set up in 2008, is a women college which is under the Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore. The institute occupies an area of land of 13. 68 acres in Rangwasa Rau and is acknowledged ‘B’ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). NCTE endorsed it and provides 20 courses in 10 degree programmes.

The college records 1, 295 students in total with 1, 082 taking undergraduate programmes while the rest are postgraduate programmes. It has 46 faculties and maintains a policy of having qualified faculty in various specialisation areas like Arts, Science, Commerce, Education and Computer Applications.
