Shri USB Pharmacy College, Sirohi

Shri USB Pharmacy College, Sirohi, is an affiliated college which came in existence in the year 2003 in Abu Road, Rajasthan. This is a co-educational institution established and recognised by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and focuses mainly on the college of pharmacy. Loctaed in a 5-acre area, the college provides a cognate learning environment in preparation for the pharmacy profession.

Shri USB Pharmacy College boasts of a total student strength of 120 and has employed 6 faculty members to take care of the students. This institute only awards one degree programme with continued evidence of the focused approach towards the preparation of pharmacists. Shri USB Pharmacy College has many amenities proposed to improve students’ learning.

The boys and girls hostel are well furnished with all amenities, and warden and security are also good. A college library is also complete with printed as well as electronic collections of books for the student’s use of academic references. Modern performance equipped laboratories serve the practical knowledge that students need for their course.

The campus also hosts a cafeteria, which offers breakfast, lunch, dinner and meals for students who are residing in the campus. To make sure that the students are well developed in their personal lives, the college offers facilities in games such as football, table tennis, basketball, volleyball, cricket and badminton.

There are also facilities such as health centre with first aid, recent computerised computer labs, an auditorium that can be used for special occasions like seminars, and student, faculty and staff car parking space. Shri USB Pharmacy College has at present only one programme which is the Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharma).

This full-time programme takes two years to complete though with an approved intake of sixty students. As such, the D. Pharma course aims for candidate development in the pharmaceutical sciences and allow them to work in multiple facets of pharmacy sector.

The college is regionally accredited with emphasis on a single specialised programme effectively making it deliver quality education in the speciality area of pharmacy.
