Siga College of Education, Villupuram District is founded in the year 1999 – 2000 and is regarded as one of the most prominent institute to cultivate future teachers. The co-educational college is situated in Kappiyampuliyur Village, Vikravandi Taluk, Villupuram of Tamil Nadu and occupies an area of 10. 06 acres. The institute NCTE recognised institute having total 147 enrolment of B.

Ed students approved by the National Council for Teacher Education. The given college has a dedicated team of 23 skilled educators which help Siga College of Education provide and maintain its competitive student-teacher ratio. Siga College of Education is affiliated with Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Chennai .

It is equipped with a range of contemporary amenities intended to support learning activities of students within the college. Library is a fully functional library loaded with readers’ desk, books, journals, newspapers, and other important learning materials. Accommodation facilities include modern teaching laboratory where practical experiments can be done as well as practice.

Currently, Siga College of Education provides only one course of study, which is the Bachelor of Education (B. ED) programme.
