Silchar College is one of the colleges in the region that was founded in 1994 on campus in the city of Silchar in the province of Assam. Actually, it is located in the scenic beauty of Kabirgram, and this college has aimed to fulfil the educational requirements of this area for almost 30 years. The campus is located on 1 acre of land and has been specifically designed to help foster learning and overall development.

The total enrolment of Silchar College comprises 121 students, while it has a team of 19 dedicated teachers that ensure that students receive personal attention from the faculty. These full-time courses are of three years duration each and are aimed to help students gain adequate expertise in liberal arts and in the field of economics as well.
