Sinhgad Dental College and Hospital was established in 2006. One of the premier institutions in the region, a light that illuminates dental education, is located in Pune, Maharashtra. Admission to the first-year BDS course will be based on the National Eligibility and Entrance Test conducted by the National Testing Agency - NEET-UG .

Admissions are centrally carried out by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research, Maharashtra. 15% of the total seats in concerned courses are reserved for NRI quota admission, whereas 85% are filled purely based on the discretion of the DMER rounds, keeping into consideration constitutional reservation policies.

For postgraduate courses, the admission is done as per NEET-MDS as per Dentistry Council of India. The institute-level vacant seat round is conducted by the college itself to fill up the vacant seats created by students after the centralised admission process.
