Sir Madanlal Institute of Education, Etawah

Sir Madanlal Institute of Education was established in 2010, located at Etawah, Uttar Pradesh, India. The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) approves the institute, and the institute offers a Bachelor of Education (B. Ed. ) programme. Readily built on the 1. 75 acre of land, the institute has a total student strength of 97 students and a faculty of 7 members.

It is a co-educational institution, thus admitting students of different genders and thus embracing equal learning. It owns several facilities that enhance its operations towards the delivery of its education goals. It is one of the prominent parts of the Sir Madanlal Institute of Education library, with a general student seating capacity of 125 students and 3633 books and 324 titles available.

For technological needs, the ICT lab has 35 computers for students to get behind and do research and use technological software and stations. The provision of health and physical education is enhanced by the availability of a health and physical education resource centre and a playfield.

These include an auditorium for events/seminars, a health centre blessed with first aid facilities, an Internet connection, a nursing laboratory, an engineering laboratory, a servant quarter, a departmental kitchen, and a guest house for the faculty members and their families. The Sir Madanlal Institute of Education only has one full-time course and this is the B. Ed. course which is a two-year programme.

For this programme, the institute has an approved capacity of students to be enrolled in different levels of 100/programmes, the primary target group being students aspiring to become teachers.
