Sita Devi Memorial Institute of Education and Technology, Haridwar, Uttarakhand is where the future of aspirant educators gets shaped. Started in 2005, this affiliated college has given service spanning almost two decades to the field of education. Located at Id-Gah Road Jwalapur, Hardwar, it imparts a focused approach toward teacher training, basically through its B. Ed. course.
Though small in its entity, this institute offers basic necessary facilities to enhance the development of the students. There is a library in the campus which would prove of immense help to students studying their B. Ed degree.
Sports facilities are also available, keeping in mind that a well-rounded education should be provided to the students of the institution and that they should practice and balance between academics and extracurricular activities. Currently, Sita Devi Memorial Institute of Education and Technology offers a single specialized course: the Bachelor of Education ( B. Ed ) . This is a two-year, full-time program designed to prepare students for a very enriching career in teaching. It is probable that the B. Ed course would have comprehensive coverage, with courses in educational theory, pedagogy, and practical classroom experience.
The admissions to the B. Ed course in Sita Devi Memorial Institute of Education and Technology are based on the State Govt. and the U. T. Administration and the affiliated University Policies. The students shall be selected on the basis of their merit in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination.
