Sivakasi Institute of Printing Technology (SIPT) is an education institution founded in 1977 under the trust from Sivakasi. This affiliated college recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has been preparing the young technicians of future safely for more than four decades.

Located on a conspicuously large campus of 24 acres of land, SIPT is a place that aims to deliver the best traditional education and new-age learning to cater to printing technology as well as engineering programmes. Over all the student intake is 350 and offer diverse diploma courses which make it unique in the field of technical education.

At the moment, SIPT provides students with a total of five full credibility full time diploma programmes all of which aims at preparing students with proper Industry knowledge and skills. Such programmes contain Diploma in Printing Technology , Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering , Electronics and Communication Engineering and Civil Engineering .

Consistent with the institute’s pragmatic education model, all the programmes offered take three years for completion and entail experiential learning. The admission procedure of Sivakasi Institute of Printing Technology has been made easy for the aspiring students to get admitted to the college. For diploma programmes, the candidate’s performance on certain qualifying examinations serves as a basis for admission.
