Sivanthi College of Education is located on a vast area of 5.

43 acres so that the students planning to become educators receive a good training ground. The total strength of the students for any academic year is 281 and the faculty strength of the college is 15 and hence the college provides individual attention and good education. As of now, the institution has two specialised courses in education, which afford student multiple avenues to follow their passion of teaching.

Sivanthi College of Education provide students with number of modern amenities that aims at helping them in their learning process. The college benefits from a modern stocked with 200 reference books, journals and magazines that enhance practice and education among college students.

There are departmental Laboratories available in the institution which are Physical Science Laboratory, Biological Science Laboratory, Psychology Laboratory, Computer Laboratory, Language Laboratory etc. Student affairs are also taken care through sporting amenities and a hall for cultural activities and seminars in the college.

As a way of ensuring the health of its community, there is a first aid health centre before the training graduate school. Also, the college provides a canteen for the student where they can purchase the snacks they want, guest house for the faculties who came for visiting, having good I. T facilities for carrying out the activities related e-learning.

The college offers two full-time courses : Bachelors in education and Masters in education or B. Ed and M. Ed. The admission capacity of the B. Ed programme is 100 and for M. Ed programme the admission capacity is 50. Each of the courses takes two years and offers the solid ground in the theory of education as well as the practical experience.

They are intended to provide students with issue, content, and pedagogical competencies to become successful educators, educational leaders, and researchers.
