Smt. B. Seetha Polytechnic was established in 1997 at West Godavari, Andhra Pradesh. This AICTE-approved institution has affiliated college status and stretches over an area of 5. 9 acres with diploma programmes in engineering fields. The student enrolment capacity is a total of 1,559, and the faculty strength is 85.

The institute offers four diploma courses in Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering. Various types of facilities are made available in the polytechnic to make the learning process as well as other developments of the students more resourceful.

A well-stacked library with over 14,000 volumes and 3,300 titles is provided, along with a number of national and international magazines and journals, to enrich the academic pursuit. The institute provides sports facilities and a gymnasium for the holistic development of its students.

There is a girls' hostel with comfortable accommodation, modern amenities, and good living conditions for outstation students. At the same time, there is a maintained health centre with first-aid facilities and arrangements for serious medical needs. Smt. B. Seetha Polytechnic runs four full-time diploma courses, each for three years.
