SNA Institute of Pharmacy, Barabanki

Situated in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, the SNA Institute of Pharmacy was started in the year 2019—pretty new to the Indian scenario of pharmaceutical education. This institution has carved out a niche for itself within such a short period as a centre of excellence in pharmacy studies.

This institute at Rana Pur, Haidergarh, Barabanki, has been approved by AICTE and PCI, thus carrying out pharmaceutical education at national standards. The faculty, consisting of 17 members, is dedicated to offering quality education in pharmacy. All the essential facilities required by students for a comprehensive course of study in pharmacy are available at the institute.

The library acts as an information centre by providing access to various sources of pharmaceutical literature to the students. At the college level, there are different departmental laboratories involved in imparting practical exposure to students in different areas related to pharmaceutical sciences.

Such facilities help bring students closer to the gap between theory and practice to accept the challenges of the pharmaceutical industry. SNA Institute of Pharmacy runs two full-time courses in the field of pharmacy education. The institute offers a 2-year Diploma in Pharmacy course and a 4-year Bachelor of Pharmacy course.

The sanctioned intake for both courses is 60 students each, thus totaling 120 students in two programmes. This streamlined approach in pharmacy education would ensure that students get specialised attention and training in the field of their choice.

SNA Institute of Pharmacy has a very easy and hassle-free process for admission, easily approachable to all students seeking admission to the first year of pharmacy degree course. Though at the tender age of years, SNA Institute of Pharmacy is firmly moving ahead to carve a niche for itself in the field of pharmaceutical education.

However, the proper approach for the delivery of quality education in pharmacy and required approvals and facilities make it a bright prospect for the students seeking a future in the pharmaceutical industry. With the growth and development of this institute, there is bound to be further improvement in the offerings and stronger ties with industry, thus advancing the cause of pharmacy education in the region.
