Sneha College of Architecture at Palakkad is a self-finance affiliated college built in 2012 situating in Kerala state of India surrounded by beauty of nature and hill. This institution situated at Attayampathi near Kollengode has been cultivating architectural talent for the past decade.

Established with a 5-acre land provision, the college today can accommodate 127 students and has a team of 12 committed and professional faculty. Amalagamously, Sneha College of Architecture has only one distinct degree specialisation, the Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch). Sneha College of Architecture boasts in having a GALA of amenities that enrich the learning experiences of students.

This campus has well equipped lecture theaters that are well furnished with audio visual equipment to make learning interactive. For practical lessons, the college comprises advanced Carpentry, Masonry, Building Science, and Survey laboratories. Computer terminals in graphics lab are updated to support students’ needs and the whole campus is wireless and students can find necessary resources during the day.

The library, a depository of information, has a stock of more than 800 books and 300 national and international journal, the essentials are there at the students’ disposal. In terms of clubs and organisation, the college offers sports amenities which include a playing field and a basketball court, besides having an auditorium where it holds its functions andocss /Z seminars.

The college also provides proper stay facilities for its students including girls hostel within college campus and boys hostel near to the campus. Sneha College of Architecture offers only its B. Arch course, and it is a day college that offers this course for five years.

Currently the programme has a planned intake of 30 students per year in order to retain the proper student to faculty ratio needed to ensure each future architect with the appropriate level of attention. This is a clear and best strategy for the college to concentrate all its efforts, capital and manpower into realising the much needed quality architecture education.

Sneha College of Architecture is recognised as a standard architectural college, and the institute follows all the constitutional rules of admission. A student who wish to join the college must have duly qualified the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) administered by the Council of Architecture, India.

This requirement helps to establish the fact that learners who get admission into the course possess the right caliber to nurture a career in architecture. The NATA exam is a mandatory entry point to architectural courses as it assesses the candidates for their aptitude in art, aesthetic judgement and factorisation skills.
