SNS Samajam Teacher Training Institute a separate institution which was established in the year 2009 is situated at Thrissur, Kerala. This is a young co-education institution, which is aimed at developing future educators and provides a narrow specialisation in the education field.

This institute is affiliated to the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and presents its dedication to quality education in teaching field. Thus being an institution that accommodates 74 students and five faculty members makes SNS Samajam to offer personalised setting. The institute provides only one professional course which also indicates its focal treatment of the choice of teachers.

SNS Samajam Teacher Training Institute has varieties of facilities that have been implemented with the view of improving the learning environment for its students. A good library department therefore plays an important role of creating an enabling environment whereby essential knowledge for those aspiring to teach is readily available.

This is a full time programme that takes two years and offers training to those who wish to teach in lower classes of elementary school. The institute has been approved to take in 50 students for this course; a factor that has been purposely used to ensure that the institute has a ratio of students to lecturers to get the best results.

This specific programme best supports the vision of the institute of producing qualified teachers for the primary education sector. The admission to SNS Samajam Teacher Training Institute is done on merit base as per the norms of government of Kerala state. Students getting admission to the course are selected through marks secured in the qualifying exam, usually higher secondary (10+2) or its equivalent exam.
