Sorabh College of Teacher Training, Hindaun City

Sorabh College of Teacher Training was established in 2007 and is located in Hindaun City in the state of Rajasthan. This co-educational college, covering an area of 2. 59 acres, aims to build teachers for the future. This affiliated college has got the accreditation from NCTE to ensure quality teacher education programmes.

The college has a student strength of 783 students and has a faculty strength of 60; this ensures a personal experience for all students. Institute's major emphasis was on teacher education with three specialised courses and aims at grooming skilled and passionate teachers for the future. Sorabh College of Teacher Training is affiliated with Kota University (UOK) .

It has a range of modern facilities to support its academic activities. At its heart is a fully automated library, housing over 17,000 books and subscribing to about 80 journals and magazines, with a seating capacity of 100 for the comfort of students in research and learning. The campus has a lab for each department, sports facilities, and excellent IT infrastructure for better learning.

Besides these, the students will also avail of an auditorium, a cafeteria, a health centre with first aid facilities, and a gym. For hospitality and to show care for visiting faculty members, the family members of the students, and even guests, the college has a guest house.

Total three full-time courses offered by Sorabh College of Teacher Training are designed to cater to the requirements of different students intending to become teachers. The flagship institute of the college is the B. Ed , which is a programme with an approved strength of 200 students. The college also offers integrated courses like BA B. Ed and B. Sc B. Ed . All these are for four years.

These programmes are designed such that all course material is catered to along with pedagogical skills. With a total intake of 783 students, it maintains the best possible student-to-teacher ratio that equips the students with the kind of surroundings necessary for effective learning and mentoring.

The Sorabh College of Teacher Training has adopted a merit-based admission process considering marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance test. The college makes all the policies of the state government, UT administration, and the affiliated university. For the B.
