SR College of Education, Meerut, was started in the year 2002 as one of the premier teacher training institutes in Uttar Pradesh, India. The co-educational institution is spread over 4 acres with the objective of creating future educators through its B. Ed. course structure. The college is an affiliated college and is granted recognition by NCTE.

The host of facilities provides an enriching learning experience at the institution. The total student enrolment stands at 218, indicating that there is great demand for the programme. Out of these facilities, the library—one of the basic units of academic facilities—stocked 9,752 volumes of books covering almost all branches of education.

It is under the process of computerisation, this library has been admitted as an institutional member of DELNET. The campus is equipped with modern facilities, well-furnished laboratories, an auditorium for events and seminars, and a computer lab with 19 computers and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Sports facilities are also available for the all-round development of students, having playgrounds for cricket, badminton, kabaddi, and volleyball, along with a gym for the fitness enthusiasts. SR College of Education offers a full-time two-year B. Ed programme. The sanctioned intake for this course is 200 seats, and thus, a good number of aspiring teachers are catered to annually.

Though a teacher education institution at its core, it nevertheless makes sure to provide holistic education which shall help the students in negotiating modern education.
