Sri Basaveshwara Institute of Technology is an affiliated college, situated at Tiptur, Karnataka. Founded in the year 2008, the sprawling 50 acres campus has chatted out a seating proposition for various engineering programs to aspiring students. With a total enrolment of 82 students devoted to quality education in an focused environment.
SBIT offers five undergraduate BE programs, each designed with a view to better equipping students with required skills and knowledge in today's fast-changing technologies. The Institute provides numerous modern facilities to support students both academically and personally. There are various laboratories for Mechanical, Chemistry, Physics, and Electronics streams.
These laboratories are furnished with the most sophisticated instruments and experimental setups. Central Library: This is basically a knowledge base, which has maintained an appropriately comfortable yet stimulating academic and research environment. To make things easy for students, SBIT has boys' as well as girls' hostels that accommodate 340 and 90 students respectively.
The hostels provide a suitable ambience for academic growth and personality development with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. SBIT's faculty and curriculum have been designed according to the requirements of the engineering sector.
The institute provides five full-time BE programs, such as Mechanical Engineering , Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering , Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering . All these courses are for four years in which intensive knowledge is concentrated into that respective area.
Karnataka Common Entrance Test ( KCET ) is the major admission route for all these programs in the institute, hence admitting talented and deserving students.
