Sri Kuvempu First Grade College, being an affiliated college functioning in Kengal, Channapatna of Ramanagara district, was established in the year 1973. Situated on an area of 10 acres, this institution provides a wide array of undergraduate and postgraduate graduate programmes.

Extra facilities are health center, medical aid, health clinics for emergencies, gym for physical activities, separate accommodation for boys and girls, and a canteen.
