Sri Maddaneshwara Government First Grade College, Kabbahalli, was established in the year 2007. It is an affiliated college in the Gundlupet, Chamarajanagar district of Karnataka. This government institution is located in a 3-acre compound to provide the right environment for higher learning.

As of now, its total number of students is one hundred and one, and it has a strong team of effective educators, number 9 of them. SGFGCC offers three classes for its students: commerce, management, and arts, all at the undergraduate level. The college aims to offer an all-round education to its students.

With several learning amenities that complement or supplement the learning process and the students’ personalities, it has a number of facilities. It is a learning centre that provides materials for course and study needs. For the sport and game lovers, the college offers sports amenities that enhance the physical abilities to be in good health as well as promoting togetherness.

This auditorium is a common meeting point for different lectures and seminars as well as in cultural and academic exchange programmes. Recognising the need to adapt to the new world, the college has provided quality IT facilities because every student requires use of modern technology in learning. Furthermore, the college provides adequate and equipped laboratories for practical lessons in associated courses.

Each of these facilities collectively provides an enabling environment and support system for the students throughout their academic endeavours. Sri Maddaneshwara Government First Grade College, an affiliated College of University of Mysore, Mysore, offers three full-time undergraduate programs : these include the Bachelor of Business Administration ( BBA ), Bachelor of Commerce {B.

Com}, and the Bachelor of Arts { BA }. All three of these programs are three-year programs that afford students comprehensive knowledge of their areas of specialisation. Although the college does not specify each individual intake for each course offered, the total intake per college is 101, and such a ratio of student to faculty is ideal to ensure one-to-one interaction is possible.

Such a limited number of intakes also imply that the admission process is competitive and such students are compelled to work hard. Admission of students at Sri Maddaneshwara Government First Grade College is competitive by standard, but the methodology followed to carry out this process has not been stated.

Prospective students are advised to visit the college's official website for more information on any of these schools or for the most accurate information on where to apply, when, and how. Potential students should consult the official school website or contact the respective school administration.

Currently, details of entrance tests or scholarships are not available, but any financial assistance that may be within the college is a student’s rightful course of action to take.
