Sri Rangapoopathi College of Nursing, Villupuram

The Sri Rangapoopathi College of Nursing was set up in 2008 and is an affiliated college situated in Villupuram, Tamil Nadu. The institute has got its recognition by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) so as to provide better education in the field of nursing. Located in a 40 acre compound, this college provide a suitable learning environment for students to enhance their learning.

The IT facility has provision of computer lab with intercessories’ for students to be connected and use internet facilities. For all the extra curricular activities and events the college has an air conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of 200 people with a technologically sound audio & Video conferencing system. Sri Rangapoopathi College of Nursing offers two full-time courses: B.

Sc Nursing and General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM). The capacity of admission in B. Sc Nursing course is 70 and in GNM course is 20. Each of the programmes lasts four years and allows the student to obtain the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills for a successful nurse.

The overall enrolment capacity of thecollege is 263 which is good step to maintain the quality of education along with fulfilling the demand of healthcare industry.
