Sri Sanjeev College of Education, Lingasugur

Sri Sanjeev college of Education, Lingasugur was established in the year 2017 with a purpose to provide teacher education to the students. This affiliated college is present at Raichur, Karnataka, which is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college occupies a small piece of land of five acres and in the best position to provide the necessary atmosphere for learning and development.

It means its student enrolment is 99 and faculty ratio is 11:01, which illustrates the institute gives proper attention to its students and the students also interact closely with each other as well with the faculty. Among the numerous facilities, which could be found in Sri Sanjeev college of Education there are many of them aimed at the improvement of learning conditions and personal growth of the students.

A well resourced library is needed as the centre of information and resources; well equipped practical laboratories form another essential learning resource. The college is also aware of the need to do with exercise with the college having sports facilities like gym to ensure that students take part in exercises.

An auditorium is used to accommodate different occurrences such as seminars fostering extra organisational activities. The institution also provides student comfort amenities such as cafeteria, guest rooms, transport facilities etc. However, it is worth mentioning that the college effectively supports information technology, which is important for studying in the age of multifaceted digitalisation of education.

Sri Sanjeev College of Education currently offers one full-time course: The offer being the Bachelor of Education ( B. Ed ) programme. This two year programme has an approved intake of fifty students This is in- line with the intakes made by the college due to its policy of ensuring that class sizes are kept manageable in order to provide quality education. The course specified and described for B.

Ed is to empower the student teachers with skills to fit in teaching profession successfully. Sri Sanjeev College of Education admits students based on merit with marks of the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The college follows all the policies from the state government, University of Toronto administration, and the affiliated university.
