Sri Sarada College For Women, Tirunelveli, started in 1986 as a premier women’s college in Tamil Nadu. Situated in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, this affiliated college is housed in an area of 39 acres Acquiring NAAC accreditation and AICTE approval. The college has 1,592 enrolments and 65 faculties; at present, the college provides 24 courses in 12 degrees of arts, sciences, and commerce.
Students 100% are women, 88% of them are undergraduates while the rest 12% are postgraduate students. Sri Sarada College For Women offers numerous amenities to improve the learner’s experience while in college. The “Matru Vihar” hostel is hostels for girls which has a seating capacity to accommodate Seven hundred forty-five including inter state and international students.
A health centre in a camp must contain a clinic where basic treatment can be made and first aid amenities, and in the worst-case scenarios, the camp directors make the necessary arrangements to transport the affected individual to a hospital. The college utilises Phsyics and Chemistry lab that contains computer laboratory.
This facility has been automated with Delplus software and has an assortment of 24941 books, 56 magazines and 36 journals. For extra curricula activities there exist sports fields, a gymnasium and an auditorium to improve on the physical and cultural ambitions of the learner.
