Sri Vijay Vidyalaya College of Nursing, Dharmapuri

Sri Vijay Vidyalaya College of Nursing (SVVCN) was started in 2008 at Dharmapuri, Tamil Nadu, as a self-financed co-educational institution imparting education, training, and professional development in nursing. This college for boys and girls is part of the Tamil Nadu Dr. M. G. R. Medical University and is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). Located on a land area of 11 acres.

The college has a total of 45 faculty members to cater for the student facilitation, thus making it easier for each student to be accorded adequate time by educators. Under this area, the college provides various resources to complement the learning points of the students.

The church also boasts of having separate, well-fenced hostels for boys and girls, which act as a home away from home, with security and wardens both day and night. An accommodation with a large library that contains the latest editions of nursing and non-nursing books along with international journals is a major focus in academic research and study.

It also has other student service facilities, such as a health centre with first aid equipment, sports facilities, and computerised facilities for the students’ enhancement. Other ancillary facilities include a canteen, an auditorium for conducting events and seminars and transportation facilities for clinical and field visits. SVVCN currently offers two full-time nursing courses: a B. Sc.
