Sri Vimal Nath Shiskha Prashikshan Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh, established in 2003, is a women's university. This affiliated college, approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), only focuses on teacher education programmes. Our institute is located on a small piece of land measuring 1.

238 acres; at present it carries a total student strength of 786 and a total faculty strength of 27 teachers. The college offers two full-time degree programmes: B. El. Ed. and D. El. Ed. , both for students who would like to become teachers to teach at the primary and secondary levels. The institute boasts of availing different facilities to add value to the learning process of the students.

It is equipped with a college library with over 12,000 books, 30 educational journals, and 10 encyclopaedias for the overall academic needs. For pragmatic training, the campus boasts of fully equipped laboratories and a well-equipped computer laboratory that is connected to the internet to update the learners with new technological developments in education.

The college also has available sporting amenities, an event and seminar hall, and a cafeteria for the consumption of meals. A fifty percent accommodation for girls exists in the form of a girls’ hostel that is supervised by a resident warden and comes complete with the necessary facilities, such as study spaces and play areas.

In the systems of education provided successfully by Sri Vimal Nath Shiskha Prashikshan Mahila Mahavidyalaya, there are two regular courses of study. The Bachelor of Education programme, which takes two years, trains students to teach in the secondary school, while the Diploma in Elementary Education programme, which is also two years, qualifies the students to teach in the primary school.

Some of the candidates are admitted through this examination, as chosen by the university. On the other hand, the admission policy of the D. El. Ed. programme is aligned with the state government/UT administration admission policy.
