Srinivasa College of Education, Vizianagaram, began its journey in 2016. The affiliated college is located in Andhra Pradesh, India. It is a co-educational institution, approved by NCTE, that caters to quality teaching standards in the pursuit of teacher education. On a compact 2-acre campus, the institution offers an ideal learning environment for aspiring educators.

With an enrolment of 100 students in total and a faculty strength of 5, this institute has been able to give the necessary personal attention to its pupils. Currently, this college offers one degree programme targeted at teacher education, which in itself means fostering future educators. The facilities available are many and constitute facilities enhancing the learning process for their students.

A well-stocked library can, therefore, serve as the very best knowledge hub—for any student—pursuing academics at whatever level. The college has a first-aid service centre to ensure the health of students. To ensure practical learning, each department at the college has a departmental laboratory that enables students to learn field experience in the area of their study.

Srinivasa College of Education also has a sports centre for the physical well-being of the students. The spaces prove to be purpose-built classrooms, enabling effective teaching and learning in a conducive environment for the academic growth of learners. Srinivasa College of Education is orientated particularly towards teacher education and has only one full-time course: the two-year Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.

) programme. The programme has an approved intake of 50 students, and the small class size indicates its commitment toward maintaining quality in education. The course of B. Ed. caters to making the student emerge as an effective teacher, for which it arms with the necessary skills and knowledge to take up the challenging task of teaching in today's times.

The admission process at Srinivasa College of Education is based on merits and marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The policies of admissions are therefore aligned to the state government, administration of the Union Territory, and the affiliated university. This would indeed ensure a fair and transparent admission process for each applicant.

An applicant is therefore expected to check the college website or contact the office of admissions for the specific date and deadlines related to the application process and entrance examinations. This is an aspect where the quality educator is nurtured by a college committed to a dedicated approach to teacher education—while it prepares students for a progressive career of rewards in education.
