SSN Engineering College, Ongole, was established in the year 2007 and is one of the premier institutions providing quality engineering education within the state of Andhra Pradesh. This an affiliated college, spread over a sprawling 11. 6 acres campus of S. N. padu, Ongole, Prakasam District.

It offers a good environment for academic growth and professional development, having a total intake of 1,178 students and a faculty strength of 150. At present, the college offers five B. Tech programs to make students well-equipped with modern knowledge and skills in their respective disciplines.

Many modern facilities present in the college have contributed to the all-round development of the academic and personal endeavors of the students. A well-stocked library with more than 100,000 books is at the center of the campus and is like a treasure house for the aspiring engineers. IT infrastructure is excellent, ensuring students are abreast of the scenario in a changing technological environment.

All departments have well-equipped laboratories with modern equipment to provide hands-on training, an essential requirement in the case of engineering education. All-round development will not be complete without some activity in sports, and SSN College of Engineering offers a well-equipped gym, sports facilities including a cricket ground with practice nets, and an auditorium for cultural events and seminars.

There is also a health center with first-aid facilities, a canteen, and comfortable hostels for both boys and girls, inside the campus. SSN Engineering College has in total 5 full-time B. Tech programmes catering to various branches of engineering.

They are four-year undergraduate courses in Civil Engineering , Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering , Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. All these programs provide theoretical concepts blended with practical applications, which would help students encounter the industry.
