St Margaret Engineering College, Alwar

St Margaret Engineering College, Alwar, has been established in the year 2002 is an affiliated college located at RIICO Institutional Area NEEMRANA, District Alwar Rajasthan. This one, located across 25 acres, provides various engineering courses at the diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate level.

The college is recognised by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), which means that the college follows criterion standard of India. Currently it has 52 students in its roll and has the sanctioned strength of 8 faculty members to guide the young engineers of St. Margaret Engineering College.

It has a number of facilities which would improve the college and the experiences of the students in St Margaret Engineering College. These are the boys’ hostels with a sitting capacity of 600 and the girls’ hostels with a sitting capacity of 150 students. These hostels have parlours, Television sets and Readers for them to feel comfortable just like they are at home.

Education is an utmost important thing to achieve and for that, health care facilities are available in college with a dispensary along with proper hospital affiliations in case of emergencies. For the sporty inclined, a contemporary gym has been provided on the school compound In case of severe illness and hospitalisation, emergency services are nearby.

The core of the academic collection here is the college ‘library which is spread over 7,325 sq. ft and is air-conditioned and divided into two floors. It currently has more than twenty-three thousand volumes, many journals and memberships to DELNET for full digital facility.

Different outdoor and indoor sporting amenities amuse the sports freaks while the as the information technology; enables the students to interact in the modern world. There are also several speciality facilities in the campus like a cafeteria, an auditorium and even a State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur with ATMs on campus. St. Margaret Engineering College has a total collection of six courses in two different programmes.

All courses are offered full time and the emphasis is on engineering disciplines. The college offers three undergraduate programmes in B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering , and Computer Science and Engineering etc. and three postgraduate programmes in M. Tech. The total intake approved for these courses is two hundred and fifty two students per year which show the college’s ability in preparing engineering talent.

The admission process at St. Margaret Engineering College is as easy as it can be. Entrance examinations are used for student admission to the B. Tech programmes.
