A cafeteria is made available for the students and staff members' culinary needs; there is a gym facility to encourage health and wellness.

The college also considers providing guest rooms or waiting rooms for the visiting faculty and the family members of its students. It is critical because this is an institute dedicated to teacher training, thus hosting adequately prepared laboratories in which students would go for hands-on experiments about their courses. St Mary's College of Education offers three courses: the D. Ed. , B. Ed. , and M. Ed. courses.

These are two-year full-time courses that have an approved enrolment of 100 seats for B. Ed and 50 seats each for D. Ed and M. Ed. Hence, the institution can nurture a huge number of future teachers every year. The B. Ed. programme empowers students with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience required to become successful teachers.

Admission in St Mary's College of Education is merit-based, following the policies framed by the state government, the UT administration, and the affiliated university. The prospective students are selected on the basis of their performance in the qualifying examination, entrance examination, or any other selection process, if any, put in place by the authorities.
