St. Xavier’s College, Vaikom is an affiliated college of the University of Kottayam established in 1981. This prestigious university, situated in an 18 acres land is duly certified by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). As on the date of submitting this data St. Xavier’s is having 599 students strength and 30 faculties, so 8 courses in 4 degree programmes.

The college student population is almost equally divided with female students comprising 64% while the male students 36%.
