Sun Engineering College, Durg was established in the year 2009 as a Private affiliated college. It is located in Chandkhuri village of Durg district in Chhattisgarh. Approved by AICTE, it has made its presence felt as an institution par excellence in the field of technical education.
Spread over, the campus is delivering quality education to the students through its pool of 56 highly dedicated and qualified Faculty Members in different streams of Engineering. The campus has a variety of facilities to improves the campus life of the students. These include separate hostels for boys and girls, which provide comfortable accommodation to outstation students.
A well-stocked library functions as a knowledge core for students and teachers alike. It has a gym for the physical fitness enthusiasts on the campus. Facilities for a variety of sports are provided, making sports activities of interest to students within the institution and maintaining a healthy balance between studies and sports.

The cafeteria serves to provide the student body with an area where students can spend time relaxing and socializing between classes, while the auditorium serves as a venue for various college events and functions.
The college has also facilitated transport, making it easier to commute for students who study here as day scholars. Sun Engineering College runs a total of four BE programs at the undergraduate level, all regular full-time courses. Again, they belong to different branches of engineering and hence give students the opportunity to choose from amongst them as per their interest.
