Suraj College of Education, Mahendergarh

Suraj College of Education, Mahendergarh was established in the year 2007 and is a Co-educational College of Education. This affiliated college in Haryana received accreditation from the National Council for Teacher Education. The campus of this institution is spread over 2 acres with 195 enrolled students. The College has many facilities to aid students in making learning an enjoyable experience.

One of them is a well-stocked library having ample collections of books, encyclopedias, periodicals, and other publications on education, medical sciences, and fiction. An open shelf system has been adopted for easy access to resources, and reading rooms have been provided separately for junior and senior students. Science laboratories are well-equipped with practical hands-on learning facilities.

Trained staff as per the requirement of practical examinations by MDU is present. Much emphasis has also been laid on technological proficiency in this institution, and hence, it is well-furnished with computer labs equipped with 30 computers each, strengthened with a secure Wi-Fi network. Suraj College of Education offers only one full-time course which is a two-year B. Ed.

Furthermore, it holds an approved intake of 100 students which once again depicts the commitment of the college towards meeting quality education. Suraj College of Education Admission follows all norms stipulated by the state government, U. T. Administration, and the affiliated university.

Admission into any course is strictly merit-based, fully considering marks from the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The college shall use other selection processes as applicable by policies prevailing at the time of admission.
