Surendera Pharmacy College, Sri Ganganagar

Surendera Pharmacy College, Sri Ganganagar, was founded in 2019 and is a young and striving pharmacy educational institution. This affiliated college is situated in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan, and is approved by AICTE and PCI. The college occupies a small area of 2 acres on a single level and hence offers a favourable atmosphere to learn.

Now the college has 34 students and 9 faculty members, which also means that the college gives individual attention to students. As of now, Surendera Pharmacy College offers two courses in pharmacy for diplomas/degrees in Amritsar. There is also tremendous commitment towards delivering a quality learning experience due to the college having adequate teaching facilities.

It is an advantage for the students since it has a modern Wi-Fi-enabled campus, meaning that the students have an easier time accessing the digital equipment. The establishment plans and executes well-ventilated laboratories with sophisticated instruments and accessories accessible for the students. Such labs are designated to provide an independent working environment for students, as well as for practice.

The college collection includes about 5,338 books, 911 titles, and nearly 218 online journals to make the students’ learning fruitful. Toward the achievement of an overall developmental goal, Surendera Pharmacy College provides sports amenities and a gym. There is a separate hostel for boys and girls which is neat and clean, and for the outstation students, we have well-furnished rooms, both AC and non-AC.

The college is affiliated to Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, Jaipur. Surendera Pharmacy College runs only two B. Pharma courses as full-time programmes. The B. Pharma programme is an undergraduate course of four years duration, and the D. Pharma is a diploma course of two years duration. The D.

Pharma programme has an approved number of 60 seats; hence, the college offers more than enough for the students who want to become pharmacy technicians. The two programmes provide the students with sound knowledge and training in pharmaceutical sciences.

That is why the focus of the college is made on these two basic programmes, making sure that the specialised education in the sphere of pharmacy and preparing competent specialists for the diverse activity in the sphere of pharmaceutical practice, healthcare system, and research activity.
