Sushila Sujata B. Ed. College is located in Patna, Bihar. It is co-educational and of standing from the year 2014, committed to the teacher-training programmes at all affiliated universities. It is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education, which therefore conducts its activities according to the national standards involving teacher education programmes.

Located at Gonpura, Netaul, Masaurhi, the college is located in a well-delineated 0. 75-acre campus area with a enrolment of student 147 and 15 faculty members, respectively. The college provides two educational-specific courses with specialisations for conducting teaching and training of the future teachers and educators.

The library, being an integral part of the support services, has 1100 titles of different books with several copies, 10 titles of journals, 10 sets of encyclopedias, and other reference books in different disciplines with a special emphasis on education.

The reading hall can accommodate 64 readers at a time, providing the opportunity for students and researchers to have an ambient atmosphere for their studies and research. A psychology lab is combined with other science labs, where every modern gadget is available for their practical learning application.

The college also has an auditorium where all the events and seminars are conducted, a canteen to take refreshments, and a health center equipped with first aid facilities. For digital exposure and commands, a computer lab with multimedia exposure and internet handling is also a feature to ensure that the students prepare for the wave of technological progression. College conducts two full-time academic programmes in the discipline of education. The two-year academic programme Bachelor of Education, commonly known as B. Ed. , shall be conducted with an intake of 100 students in each session, approved by NCTE. The college also provides a two-year full-time academic programme called Diploma in Elementary Education, commonly known as D. El. Ed.

, in the medium with 50 students in each session, approved by NCTE. The two programmes, through the preparation of teaching professionals, cater to the various needs and demands arising in the field of education. The admission process to Sushila Sujata B. Ed. College varies according to different programmes. For the B. Ed. programme, selection is through merit in an entrance test conducted by the institute.

This ensures that candidates with aptitude and knowledge necessary for teacher training are admitted. The D. El. Ed. programme, on the other hand, follows a merit-based admission process. This, among other things, can be through the marks obtained in the qualifying examination or marks secured in the entrance exams or through any other process of admission adopted by the state government/UT administration policies.
