SVM Institute of Management Studies, Ilkal, was established in the year 2008 and I affiliated college in Bagalkot, Karnataka. This AICTE recognised college and school is focused on management education and provides a MBA programme . SVM Institute of Management Studies at present has a total student intake of thirty-nine and has a faculty of six members.

To get admission in MBA programme , the institute accepts scores of numerous national level entrance exams such as CAT, CMAT, XAT MAT, ATMA & GMAT etc. SVM Institute of Management Studies has all the necessary amenities to facilitate students’ academic and extracurricular activities.

The campus utilises modern technology in it infrastructure that enable the students make use of the latest technological tools in their learning. Specialists’ readings are stored in a source base that is a well-stocked library, and skills are acquired in laboratories. In the field of physical fitness and recreation, the institute provides sports facility and a gym.

It also has an auditorium which can accommodate events and seminars, a cafeteria where people may cover their meals, and guest houses which can specially accommodate the families of employees and/researchers who are staying temporarily on the compound. Male and female students can take advantage of hostel services which entails to provide them comfortable accommodation while they are in their studying period.

There is also a health centre with first aid facilities which adequately addresses students’ health needs. The programmes being offered at the SVM Institute of Management Studies are as follows: At the present time, the Institute offers only one postgraduate programme, MBA . This full-time course spans two years and our approved quota for the course is 60 students.

The MBA programme prepared to help students acquire all the necessary knowledge and skills for professional activities in different managerial positions. SVM Institute of Management Studies conducts admission from national level entrance examination scores.

The scores of following management tests are accepted by the institute CAT-Common Admission Test, CMAT -Common Management Admission Test, XAT -Xavier Aptitude Test, MAT-Management Aptitude Test,ATMA-AIMS Test for Management Admissions & GMAT-Graduate Management Admission Test.
