SVS Polytechnic, Hanamkonda

SVS Polytechnic, Hanamkonda, was established in 2014 and is an affiliated college situated in Warangal-Urban, Telangana. It is an AICTE affiliated polytechnic college offering diploma courses in various discipline of engineering. Located in Hyderabad within an area of 10. 41 acres, SVS Polytechnic offers total number of admissions at 715, and 55 faculty members.

The college offers five diploma courses essentially in engineering in order to spread out our cognate areas of specialisation. As a technical education institution, SVS Polytechnic envisages to produce professional manpower prepared to take on market challenges. SVS Polytechnic has pride in maintaining well equipped and best services and facilities that supplement the learning of the institute students.

There is a boys hostel and also a girls hostel, both accommodate the students and provide quality meals. The library equipped with courteous librarians, has a library, which is an academic point to fetch academic resources containing more than 54,818 volumes and 6,840 titles besides offering subscriptions to 168 national and international journals.

Through the use of Wi-fi connection, students have advantages of well equipped laboratories, strong IT facilities. In addition, the college also has a heath centre charged with first aid services as well as special medical needs. To assure the qualitative look into students, SVS Polytechnic provides students with sporting amenities such as a gym and sports fields.

Besides the classrooms, the campus for the school has an auditorium that can be used to host events like seminars, canteen to cater for the student’s needs. The Training & Placement Cell is working to provide the career prospects to the students. Currently SVS Polytechnic has a total of five diploma courses to offer and all of them are full-time.

These are Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering courses. This overall approved intake of all courses is 300 seats.

Computer Science and Engineering stream has the largest number of intakes with 120 and electronics and communication engineering with 60 followed by electrical and electronics engineering with 30 for mechanical engineering and Civil engineering respectively.
