Swami Ganga Giri Janta Girls College Ludhiana was founded in 1973 for providing education to the women folk of Punjab. This affiliated college is situated on Ludhiana Road, Raikot having 5 acre area for the specially all girls students. The college being an accredited institution, it is under the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and this show the college strives to deliver quality education.
The college has students’ enrolment of total 253 and faculty members of total 37 thus proving the fact that every student gets individual attention and proper Carolina’s college of education ternal and guidance. It has several equipped new generation college equipments that serves as a plus when it comes to learning and skills acquisition.

To students, who live on the campus, there is a Girls’ Hostel with homelike atmosphere and with the size of 2750 sqm It consists of 16 large, comfortable rooms, it can host up to 100 students. About health care provisions, the college is also robust offering a new gym, and many other sports amenities.
In its academic field the Swami Ganga Giri Janta Girls College provides a diverse choice of under graduate and post graduate courses. It offers 8 full and part-time courses namely; Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Computer Applications, Master of Commerce and Master of Arts in Political Science and Punjabi amongst others.
