HISTORY INITIATION- Swami Keshwanand Institute of Technical Education Sikar (SKITE) was established in 2010, as a technical College that it is today. This affiliated college is in Sikar, Rajasthan and has really made a place for itself in the field of technical education.

Accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), SKITE extends a suite of diploma programs cutting across fields of engineering. The institute occupies the area of 32. 12 acres of land and thus can be regarded as having optimal conditions for learning process.

With a total of 155 students intake and faculty of 39 students, SKITE is capable of offering quality education to students and also to maximize student faculty ratio. Institute has shown strict adherence to technical education through its wide variety of courses offered in five areas of specialization in engineering.

This has encouraged the establishment of sleek infrastructures by SKITE that improves students’ learning environment. It has laboratories fully equipped to support learning and the application of learning in practice by the institute’s students. The IT infrastructure is good according to the fast growing technologies in the market.

The library often billed as the being of the academic institution holds in excess of 5,000 books that are contemporary with a variety of National and International journals. As for students’ health to and wealth, It provides sports facilities like Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Table Tennis, Carom, Chess, Badminton, Basketball and Football.

The institute also rents out accommodation primarily for boys and girls from other places in order to enable a comfortable stay for such students. The available foods are healthy convenient in campus dining halls and also affords students opportunities to relax and interact with peers. Overall, SKITE presents five full time diploma courses and all are for three years of study.

These courses include Civil Engineering , Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering , Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering . All programs have been approved to take 60 students per course, which in total takes the total student intake to three hundred.

As it has been stated earlier, the institute ensures the delivery of education follows industry standards and meets actual industry demands. They are selected on counselling held by the Board of Technical Education of Government of Rajasthan. However, the students in few cases can also get admitted directly under management quota if they score good marks.
