Swami Vivekanand College of Professional Studies, established in year 2001, is an affiliated college and is situated in Awadhpuri Colony, Sehore, Madhya Pradesh. The institute is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education and offers only teacher education programmes. Occupying a 2 acre area, this college boasts of total students’ population of 1, 558 and 24 faculty members.

The institute promotes eight courses in all spread out in eight different degrees, all concentrated in the field of education and teaching. In its preparation of the next generation of educators, the college offers a number of amenities to aid the student’s learning experience.

Swami Vivekanand College of Professional Studies has several establishments aimed at improving their learning experiences of the college students. It acts as a library whereby students can be issued with many forms of education resources and learning materials. It also boasts of sound IT facilities for equal preparation of the students with modern technology resources. The college has an approved student’s capacity of 250 students for all its programmes offered. Ed 100 D. El. Ed 100 M. Ed 50 The admission criteria at Swami Vivekanand College of Professional Studies are based strictly on the marks scored in the previous qualification examination and/or entrance test. For the B. Ed programme , any state government, UT administration or university norm based on merit of the qualifying examination/entrance examination/any other mode of selection can be opted.

Same procedure is followed in D. El. Ed programme and here too it follows state government or UT administration norms. For M. Ed programme, merits students based on their performance in other qualification or entrance examination or any method prescribed by the state government, university or UT administration.
