Swavalambi College of Education, Wardha

Swavalambi College of Education was founded in 1958 in Wardha, and it is one of the recognised institutions for teacher education. Located in the region of Wardha, Maharashtra, it is an affiliated college that has served the purpose of training educators for more than six decades. NAAC accredited this college and achieved approval from NCTE to establish quality standards.

Swavalambi College is located on a tight campus of 5 acres. Here, the college puts together concentrated learning environments which make teaching feasible and engage the students. The student enrolment is small in number with 80 students and the number of faculty members in the college is 4. Swavalambi College of Education underlines quality teacher education in the B. Ed programme . This full-time course lasts for two years and equips students for successful careers in teaching. There is an approved intake of 100 seats in the B.
