SYTR Government Degree College, Madakasira

Sytr Government Degree College is one of the leading colleges situated at Madakasira of Anantapuram District in Andhra Pradesh, which was started in the year 1991. This associated college is NAAC accredited and provides a wide option of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Spread over an area of 8 acres, the college serves a total strength of 787 students.

Out of them, 54% are male students, while 46% are female students. Currently, it has 22 dedicated faculties offering 8 courses situated in 4 degree programmes; arts, commerce, and sciences. Sytr Government Degree College boasts of having various facilities for improvement of the student experience, as will be seen below.

Originally, the campus held the required boys’ hostel, which offers suitable accommodation for students who commute from different towns.

The undergraduate programmes include a full-time, three-year programme in arts (BA), commerce (B. Com. ), and science (B. Sc. ).

For the postgraduate students, there are two-year full-time MA programmes in the college. The total number of students is 740, including 781 first-degree students and 6 graduate ones in the course of the latest academic year.
