Tagore College of Education, Mahendergarh was established in the year 2007. It is affiliated with a college located in Haryana, India. This institute is a co-ed institute and is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education. The campus spreads over an area of 2 acres and has an intake of 255 students for two specializations in education.

The faculty strength is 10 highly dedicated individuals who can give individual attention to the students. The college has a number of facilities provided for enhancing students' learning experiences. This knowledge hub is well-stocked with an extensive collection of books on Management and Information Technology. In addition, there are subscriptions to over 22 national and international journals and magazines.

Access to resources is easily facilitated through a computerized library management system. The Institute also has a sports complex and a well-equipped gymnasium, with the physical fitness of the student being as important as intellectual development. Excellent IT infrastructure is provided in the college to support modern teaching methodologies.

An auditorium facilitates intellectual discourses and cultural programs, events, and seminars. In addition to these, the college also has facilities in terms of Language Resource Centre, Science Resource Centre, and ICT Resource Centre, which are well-equipped in providing practical experiences to the students. Tagore College of Education offers two full-time courses, Bachelor of Education and Diploma in Education.

The approved intake in the former is 100 seats, while in the latter, it is 50, aggregating to 150 seats in both courses. Such courses will lead to successful careers in teaching wherein the student-teacher inculcates the appropriate skills and knowledge demanded by the contemporary classroom.

Ed 50 Admission to the institute strictly will be on merit in marks in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examinations. In B. Ed. programme, the admissions will be as per the policies framed by Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak and framed by the state government from time to time. In all other D. Ed.

programmes the admissions are provided based on the rules and regulations followed by the State Government, the U. T. administration, and the affiliated university.
