Tatyasaheb Kore Shikshanshastra Mahavidyalay, Warananagar

Established in the year 2008 the Tatyasaheb Kore Shikshanshastra Mahavidyalay Warananagar is a co-educational college. This institute is also found in Warananagar, Maharashtra, and its major focus is to offer courses in teacher education. It occupies a small area of only 10 acres; thus, the college can offer an exceptional educational experience for students wishing to become educators one day.

It has a student strength of 59 which including faculty & staff, are only 7 in total, so we can understand that the institution provides a kind of personal touch education. The college at the moment only has one programme of study, the Bachelor of Education (B. Ed), which is a two-year full course.

Tatyasaheb Kore Shikshanshastra Mahavidyalay provides a wide number of infrastructures that help the students to improve their performance and personal growth. These include following separate hostel facilities for boys and girls to enhance comfortable stays for students from other towns or provinces.

Special importance is given to a modern library as a centre of knowledge and department laboratories as places for practical training. Also, the college serves an auditorium, events, seminars, and other activities to enhance the academic camp of the college. In every student’ interest, there is a cafeteria, a health centre with first aid facilities, and a gym.

Sports are well developed in the college for recreation, and the college also has well-furnished IT facilities to meet the modern requirements of the college and the courses offered. For example, there is an option of a guest house for faculty and students’ visitors and specifically guests of visiting faculty. The Tatyasaheb Kore Shikshanshastra Mahavidyalay, being a teacher education college, offers only the B.

ED with 59 student enrolments. This way of specialisation ensures that the institute hones its focus and acumen down to developing effective teachers. The B. Ed is a two-year full-time course in which knowledge and skills required by a teacher are instilled in students. Regarding the specific data of the graduating students, the information is inaccessible.

However, a relatively small number of students and a strong desire to maintain that favourable ratio of students to teachers indicate that the college pays proper attention to the quality of education. Tatyasaheb Kore Shikshanshastra Mahavidyalay offers admission to its students on a merit basis, depending on the performance in the qualifying examination and/or entrance test.

Like all other procedures in the institution, the college adheres to the admission guidelines and policies provided by the state government of Maharashtra and the affiliated university.
