Teacher Training College, Gaya, was established in the year 2006. It has grown as a premier institution set up for the future teachers to come. This affiliated college at Gaya in Bihar is duly approved by NCTE, New Delhi, assuring quality in a teacher education curriculum. The institute sprawls within a compact 1-acre campus, with an ideal learning environment inside its premises for the aspiring teacher aspirants.

It has an excellent student-teacher ratio, with 89 students enrolled against a faculty strength of 41. This indeed ensures that personalised attention and mentorship are extended to each learner. The college offers three professional programmes in education for the various levels of teacher training and development.

This institution is fully equipped with modern facilities that shall benefit the learning of its students. At the center of all these facilities is a fully-equipped library with extensive volumes: 8,956 books, 73 journals and periodicals, and 35 encyclopedias. This spacious library has a reading capacity of 175 students to work in an ambiance conducive to research and study.

Other amenities include well-furnished laboratories like Science Lab, Language Lab, ICT Lab, Psychology Lab, Mathematics Lab, and an Art & Craft Lab. Apart from academics, the institutions provide practical learning sessions-very essential for a teacher-to-be. Besides physical training, the institution has sports facilities, yoga center, meditation center, and even a swimming pool.

There are separate hostels for boys and girls available on the campus itself with all the facilities including 24-hour water and electricity supply. In full time, Teacher Training College, Gaya offers three courses, each of two years duration. The college offers courses in elementary education at the diploma level, bachelor's degree level as well as at master's degree level.
