Technical Institute of Interior and Fashion Studies (TIIFS), Vashi, Navimumbai. Apart from employing techniques in preparing the candidate for a much earlier curricular experience at the preschool-giving levels, the TIIFS admission process conducts a host of practical industry-based courses from preschool to professional levels.
The TIIFS admission process is as student-friendly as possible for such aspiring designers at different levels of their educational journey. TIIFS admission process conducts programmes at three degree levels: bachelor's degree, diploma, advanced diploma, and postgraduate diploma in interior design or fashion design.
The TIIFS admission process, however, is dependent on each programme as there are certain requirements and levels of skills that differ from those of the other courses.
TIIFS admission process for both diploma and advanced diploma programmes, including one-year diploma courses such as Diploma in Fashion Designing with CAD and Diploma in Interior Designing with CAD, has relatively more liberal admission norms to enable entry for applicants coming from very mixed educational backgrounds and professional experiences.
TIIFS admission process for the range of postgraduate diploma programmes, such as PGD Fashion Designing with CAD and PGD Interior Designing with CAD, caters primarily for graduates or professionals' skills enhancement training, focusing on the computer-aided design aspects of their fields.
TIIFS Application Process TIIFS application procedures are designed to ensure that a potential designer can apply easily and without much hassle. Online Application: The application form required for any programme will be available on the online site of TIIFS.
Application Fee Payment: A non-refundable application fee would probably be charged, for which payments have to be made through the online portal of the institute. Entrance Exam/Interview: Depending on the programme, there will either be an entry test or an interview by TIIFS assessing candidates' aptitude and creativity according to what the programme would need.
Portfolio Appraisal: For design programmes, portfolio review may form part of the selection process. Merit List Publication: Once all applications have been evaluated, a merit list of selected candidates will then be published by TIIFS on their official website.
