Thalapathy College of Education, Dharmapuri, started in 2008 and nurtures one of premier educational institutions in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. This is a co-educational institution found in compact areas with 1 acres that prepares students for future teaching occupations.

It being an affiliated college keeps the standards of National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) in view to guarantee the quality results in teacher training programmes. The B. Ed programme offers ground training together with academic preparation which prepares the student for a teaching profession.

Under the present admission policy /procedure prescribed by the State Government, U. T. Administration and the affiliated University, Thalapathy College of Education follows a merit basis procedure for the admission. The students that wish to join the facility are assessed on their performance on the qualifying examination as well as the entrance examination.
