Thanapandiyan Polytechnic College is affiliated college, which was started in the year 1985 in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. This institution is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and provides a number of diploma courses in engineering fields. Located in a campus area of 13 acres the college has a strength of 220 students and a faculty of 20 teachers.

The total approved intake capacity for all the courses is 180 seats per year, and the maximum number of seats are sanctioned to Mechanical Engineering i. e 60.
