Thanthai Periyar EV Ramasamy Government Polytechnic College (TPEVRGPTC) is one of the best technical colleges in Vellore city of Tamil Nadu. Set up in 1959, a govt. owned polytechnic has been carving future engineers for more than 6 decades. AICTE approved college provides an excellent range of diploma programmes in engineering specialisation fields.

Equipped with faculty strength of 39 members, TPEVRGPTC imparts technical education to the students coming from different background of life . The TPEVRGPTC campus is a learning institution that has adequate equipment in improvement of the learning process and development of students.

The college has modern equipped laboratories to allow the students to put to practice what they learn in classrooms in the various fields of technology. The library is a store house of knowledge wherein 5,478 titles are displayed and facility of reading has been provided with the carrying capacity of 150 students.

To facilitate accommodation needs for the students, there are unique hostel accommodations for male and female students which will aid their comfort throughout their study. TPEVRGPTC has 15 diploma courses and all of these are delivered full time.

Some of these courses offered by the college include Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering , Electronics & Communication Engineering and Automobile Engineering. These courses are intended to meet the need of the students as well as the growing trends of the market. The college has a large intake capacity of 150 seats.
