Thejus College of Architecture, Thrissur

Thejus College of Architecture, Thrissur (TCA) is one of the premier educational institutions that was set up in the year 2014. It is an affiliated college in Vellarakkad, Erumappetty, Thrissur district of Kerala and approved by the Council of Architecture. Established in 1996, TCA Campus is a giant campus spread over 3 acres of area.

Total student enrolment is 216 for a single programme, namely, Bachelor of Architecture. Presently, the college is staffed with a total of twenty-three faculties and has a desirable student-faculty ratio. TCA being a co-education institution, it accepts students from both applicants and is a blend of male and female students. The college aims at offering all opportunities that could improve the stay of the students.

TCA has arranged different hosts for boys as well as girls so that students who live in other towns get to stay in comfortable hostels. Standard Information Technology is also provided with sufficient high-speed Wi-Fi, thus providing convenient connectivity to online resources.

A good reading room exposes one to information and knowledge; functional laboratories and workshops meet the applied aspect of architectural learning. The college also has an auditorium to conduct some occasions involving seminars, a cafetorium for refreshments, and then comes the health post with first aid facilities.

In this regard, the college offers facilities for a number of games like cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, and table tennis for recreation and physical fitness. Moreover, the college has a fleet of buses in order to manage the transport services of students. Thejet College of Architecture, Thrissur exclusively specialises in architecture with only one course—the B. Arch course .

This is a full-time, 5-year degree programme with an approved capacity of 80 students per academic year. The B. Arch course offers the student knowledge on architectural basics, design procedures, and skills that are needed in the field. The admissions protocol of Thejus College of Architecture, to a great extent, depends on the NATA scores of the students applying.

Besides, JEE Main scores are also considered for admission in the college. It is suggested that prospective students should get accustomed to the college website or check for the dates provided in the admission office since they fluctuate each year.
