Thiru A Govindasamy Government Arts College, Tindivanam, analysed in this research, is an affiliated college established in 1969 in Tindivanam, Villupuram District, Tamil Nadu, India. This government institution is one of the largest and sprawls over 31 acres of land and provides a vast number of academic programmes.
The college offers 35 courses in 9 degree programmes; specialisations include arts , sciences, and commerce at undergraduate, graduate, master's, and doctoral levels, and currently the college has 4372 students and 43 faculty members. The college has several learning and development infrastructures in place for students.
These include a modern sports complex for physical activities and games, a hall for events and seminars, and a school library. It also has departmental laboratories where learners can practise their subjects, especially the science-related ones.
